Flying Stars 2023

There are a number of different schools of Feng Shui, and because one’s environment significantly affects an individual’s well-being, all are concerned with the concentric interactions of physical surroundings such as buildings, trees, mountains, rivers, roads and so on. Thus it’s believed that considerations from the smallest decorative object, up to and including the overall design of a structure or property, constitute its Feng Shui.

One popular method of Feng Shui is the Flying Star system, which represents the nine directions and the major stars that move in and out through their quadrants. The system’s origin was likely inspired by the constellation we call the Big Dipper. The reason this theory ancients called it Flying Stars is due to energy’s constant motion and directional impact.

The Flying Star system is associated with the Compass School of Feng Shui. People who ascribe to this school look at the horoscope of a building. Their method incorporates a building’s geographic positioning, cartographical direction, and chronologic age to create a Flying Star chart and numerological diagram. By analyzing the stars that are present in each of the various directions, one can designate in which quadrant Feng Shui appointments should be installed in order to reduce negative influences and to activate auspicious energies.

It is okay to reuse items from a previous year’s Flying Star adjustments i.e. Foo Dogs, coins etc. Check their condition and if you find them to be damaged you must replace them. However, there should be at least one new ingredient in your Flying Star recipe. New Year Paper Couplets must always be new.

Flying Stars Predictions for the Year 2023

2023 is the year of the Water Rabbit.

FLYING STARS CHANGE FEBUARY 4th, 2023 at 10:47 a.m.

The best Flying Star directions in 2023 include North, West, South, and Center. In general, these are lucky areas and great locations for important spaces such as the front entrance, bedrooms, or kitchens.

There are “clashing swords” in the Southeast in 2023. If your bedroom or front door is in the Southeast, pay attention to the possibility of more quarrelling and fighting.

The Illness Star (Sector 2) is in the East and the Disaster Star (Sector 5) is in the Northwest. To reduce the effect of these stars, add Feng Shui Flying Star metal cures in these areas (See adjustment in the sectors below).

Overall, the element of wood is in the center of the next year, which can bring growth and new beginnings. Some might push too hard too fast and run out of steam early on, but overall, 2023 will be a time of growth. Sector 4, in the center of the chart, can leave young boys prone to depression, heightened stress levels and a variety of other illnesses, so be sure to adjust here if you have younger male children and be pro-active if you see any symptoms develop. On a positive note, Sector 4 can also bring intelligence and fame, and since water is the primary element in 2023, we should see improvement as in the five-element creative cycle, water feeds wood.

In the Flying Star system of Feng Shui there is a star referred to as the Tai Sui, or the Grand Duke Jupiter. This is a very important star, said to influence much about the year itself. In each year of the 60-year cycle, the spirit of a different personality represents the Tai Sui.

The Water Rabbit’s Tai Sui is represented by an ancient figure, General Pi Shi. He was known as an incredibly wise individual with strong physical and mental abilities. He was able to command large armies, stopping invasions and security borders without any collateral damage. He also skillfully navigated diplomatic relationships and political turmoil, was hardworking, industrious, and led by example. Hopefully, the influence of General Pi Shi will bring us wise and experienced leaders, who are able to implement effective policies and stabilize even the most serious of situations.

In this year, also known as the Yin Water Rabbit, agriculture and political power will tend to be more stable. There should be rain in the spring and summer, and a lack of water next autumn and winter. In the first half of the year there could be major floods that cause personal and regional devastation, resulting in considerable damage to infrastructure and disruptions to supplies of clean water, wastewater treatment, electricity, transport, education, and health care.

The financial industry forecast is not optimistic; do not listen to rumors and invest in the stock market. Like watching a darting rabbit and not knowing which way things will turn, the markets will suddenly explode and then experience turbulence and an aftershock of great instability. The first half of the year is considered unstable, so it is a not a good time to invest. Play it safe. It is recommended that you can start investing after June 18th, 2023 or wait until after August 15th, 2023.

The astrologers of the East feel that in 2023 the pandemic will continue to spread, the number of people affected will increasing and the fatality rate will rise. They are warning everybody to take additional safety precautions. So at the end of the year of the Tiger it is especially important to make Feng Shui preparations for each person in your family.

In 2023 the Eastern governments may grow stronger and the Western governments may become weaker. So hold on to your hats, it could be a wild ride. Living in the West, we will need to keep our hearts open but also learn to buckle up. The Rabbit is considered the most diplomatic of all the signs, so let’s hope this heavenly attribute will flourish throughout the world.

2023 FLYING STARS BY DIRECTION

This star’s appearance highlights relationships and affects marriage, socializing, one’s popularity, event attendance, and going out on the town. to elevate your relationship, use bright colorful flowers here,  or a relationship duck charm.  To help you socially, add a water plant to this area. (No soil – only water.) To prevent your boyfriend from leaving you for someone else or to prevent third party interference, place a Rooster here. You can block the star’s disturbing energy by using the color yellow (Earth), especially if your bedroom is in the SOUTHWEST sector. However, people in sales or communication should be careful not to overdo it, because the Earth Element could cut off your Water Element, causing blockage to your income. Using the 12 Zodiac Wall Hanging will aid you in good communication and help you to experience better cooperation with colleagues, associates, and family members.

EAST – Sector #2 (Earth Element) Sickness Star and Tia Sway: This star’s existence in this area encompasses the negative effects of chronic disease, accidents, or the possibility of surgery. Proven methods for negating these are to donate blood, and to perform good deeds. Do not do a renovation in this area. If you must, consider calling a Feng Shui consultant to do a blessing ceremony before proceeding. Recommended adjustments to place in this sector are the Natural Gourd, which is known as a “Hu Lu.” In olden times, the ancients used a “Hu Lu” to store medicinal herbs. Chinese deities (such as the Eight Immortals) were often portrayed carrying a gourd, in which they would capture and hold evil spirits.  If your home, office, or business door opens facing EAST you can use something made of metal (i.e., coins) hidden or visible under your doormat. Avoid using the colors yellow and red here. Don’t sit or lie down in the EAST for an extended period of  time.  Another effective adjustment is to place a Pi Xiu facing this direction. Tai Sway  – This year the Tai Sway especially affects Rabbit, Rooster, Rat, Horse and to a lesser extent the Dog.

SOUTHEAST – Sector #3 (Wood Element) Dispute Star (AKA Argument Star). The star’s influence is characterized by disharmony in business or family relationships. Using the color red here will help to avoid arguments. You can adjust the area by using a red light here, or if your door opens to SOUTHEAST, you could use a red doormat. Another helpful adjustment is to use the 12 Zodiac Wall Hanging. You can place this in the sector, or in your hallway, or any place that people congregate or sleep. This will bring harmony to the household.

It can bring misfortunes, accidents, loss, and death. Its presence indicates tragedy, sickness, calamities, and obstacles to overcome. Many signs will experience the effects by facing tough issues in health and relationships or meet financial hardship. A good adjustment is to install metal objects like bells in this sector. This is an inauspicious direction for renovation, so be sure to contact a Feng Shui consultant and receive a blessing ceremony before proceeding. It is a particularly benevolent star for blue-collar workers or for those who use their hands in their line of work. One can also place a crystal here to attract better prospects. Do not overdo adjustments here, just one adjust is best. To negate effects of the Three Killings Star, which is a bad energy star, use a Pi Xui charm or statue on the ground facing the WEST.

NORTHEAST – Sector #7 (Metal Element) Broken Army Star This star signifies violence and bloodshed. It can also symbolize loss of family members, robbery, lawsuits, jail, or violence. If your bed is in the NORTHEAST of your house, or if your bedroom door opens towards the NORTHEAST, use the color blue. Do not place, or at least, minimally use moving objects or adjustments that create sound, i.e., wind chimes, radio, drum sets, or television. In the flying star tradition, the advice would be to move such items out of this sector. Avoid the color red here.

SOUTH – Sector #8 (Earth Element) Prosperity Star, the 8th star means material gain; prosperity as a reward for work done. It is a beneficial star, bringing with it good luck, good financial returns, or an improvement in reputation. Do not block chi; remove books AND keep the area neat and tidy. Strengthen with the colors red and yellow.

NORTH – Sector #9 (Fire Element) Happiness Star This star brings wonderful good fortune and excellent prospects for the future. It further benefits your marriage or other personal/business relationships. For more sweetness in your romantic relationship, you can place 9 red roses with stem in a vase. Coins, or adjustments made from metal work well here. A 12 Zodiac Wall Hanging or red lights would be a good adjustment here as well.
